End of year Class party

Today was our end of year class party. What a lot of yummy scrummy food! Thank you everyone for your contributions. We had a lovely picnic.

My favourite thing this year...

My favourite thing room 3 this year was pyjamas day because we were in our pyjamas .
And I had my slippers and I had my dressing and I think that was awesome.

This year...

My favourite thing in room three this year was being a Animal. I was a lion .That day I was pretending to be a lion superhero called Leon . It was amazing.

Pasifika festival

On Friday we performed at the Pasifika Festival at Te Papapa school. We performed 3 songs - a Tongan song and dance, a Samoan song and dance and a Maori dance. Everyone dressed up in their national dress and we looked amazing.

The Zoo Discovery Centre

We enjoyed the Discovery Centre at the zoo. We got to touch animal teeth, tusks, skins and see stuffed animals and animal bones.

What a great day we had at the zoo today. It was a beautiful sunny day and we saw lots of amazing animals. Room 3 were fantastic! I am very proud of you.

One more sleep to go.....

Tomorrow is our zoo trip. Don't forget to bring a hat, a raincoat, lunch and a drink. Try to get to school early (by 8.30am) so that we are all ready to leave at 9am. Wahhoo. It's going to be a fantastic day.

i saw a zebra at the zoo and it has black and it has a big nose and the ladyfriend likes the bog zebra.

The Cheetah story

If I could be any cat I would be a cheetah because I could run fast .They are yellow and black.

A wild cat live in the jungle. It has sharp teeth and I think they can climb up trees.

Performance time

Today Room 3 hosted the School Assembly. Our Assembly was a Zoo Assembly. We sang and danced and some children read out animal stories. Well done for a fantastic effort Room 3!

Book Week Assembly

Today was Book Week Assembly. We paraded our costumes in front of the junior school.

Book Character day

Today we dressed up as our favourite book character. We looked fantastic.

Today the Walking School bus children had their photo taken for the local newspaper as part of our Safe Walking campaign. They were given school bags with the number 50 on them to remind drivers to drive at 50 kilometres an hour.

Shapes, shapes, shapes

We are learning about shapes as part of our Geometry Strand in maths. We have been doing lots of shapes activities. We have been using pipe cleaners to make shapes, creating shape patterns, and sorting shapes.
