Swimming

We love swimming.

It is so great that everyone is bringing their togs every swimming day. Keep it up!

Recycling

Our school is now making sure that we recycle our rubbish. We have learnt how to use the different bins for different types of rubbish and we all now know what worms like to eat for the worm farm!

We love reading books in our tent.

Certificate winners

Today's certificate and book winners are Malachi and Maynian. Well done boys!

Teddy Bear's Picnic

We had a teddy bear's picnic today. We had lots of yummy food and enjoyed playing with our teddy bears.

Fairy bread

We made fairy bread with our buddies from Room 7 for our picnic today.

Enviro reps

The room 3 Enviro reps this year are Malachi and Roman. They will go to meetings to find out how room 3 can keep the school tidy and how we can help our environment.

Arnie

As part of our week of reading the big book 'Dog', Caleb's dog Arnie came to visit us. We had a turn of patting Arnie, brushing Arnie and some lucky children got to walk Arnie. We liked watching Arnie fetch a stick and dance with Monica!

Subway

We can order sushi on a Wednesday and subway on a Friday.

Amanda and Tine

We are lucky enough to have two student teachers in room 3 this week and next. They are Amanda and Tine and we are enjoying having them here!

Healthy eating

Please remember that we are a water only school. That means that we shouldn't be bringing in juice or fizzy drinks. This way, we can be very healthy. I am very impressed with the healthy food Room 3 has been bringing to school.

Kings and Queens in Room 3

When people have been trying really hard in class, they get to become a Queen or a King, and wear the Room 3 crown.

Hats

It is great to see children wearing their hats everyday. Keep it up!
