Book Week Assembly

Today was Book Week Assembly. We paraded our costumes in front of the junior school.

Book Character day

Today we dressed up as our favourite book character. We looked fantastic.

Today the Walking School bus children had their photo taken for the local newspaper as part of our Safe Walking campaign. They were given school bags with the number 50 on them to remind drivers to drive at 50 kilometres an hour.

Shapes, shapes, shapes

We are learning about shapes as part of our Geometry Strand in maths. We have been doing lots of shapes activities. We have been using pipe cleaners to make shapes, creating shape patterns, and sorting shapes.

Term 4

Tomorrow will be our first day of Term 4. Happy Birthday to all of those Room 3 children who had birthdays during the holidays.....Happy Birthday Malachi, Caleb, Nikolai and Amy. Wow, Room 3 has many super six year olds now!
